Makaihlah Stover:
“Makaihlah started dancing at the age of 14. Her passion for dance grew rapidly and it has been her whole life since. She’s been teaching/choreographing for 11 years and is so blessed that her love for dance led her to The Dance Pitt. Makaihlah has won numerous awards regionally and nationally for her choreography. While teaching for TDP she also travels the Midwest doing freelance choreography for other studios and dance teams.
Watching dancers grow and mold into their own artist is something that truly inspires her. She loves to watch dancers be pushed to the limits they did not know existed inside of them! Makaihlah is in her fourth year teaching at TDP and is anxious to see what the future has in store for our dance family!”
Abigail Balk:
“Abigail started dancing at the age of three and her love for it has grown tremendously through the years. She is trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, tap, and musical theatre/character. As a dancer, Abigail had the opportunity to attend a variety of intensives, conventions, and competitions at both regional and national levels. Throughout her fifteen-year dance journey, Abigail discovered her love for teaching and choreographing. Now, as a teacher, she has been blessed with regional and national competitions awarding her for her choreography.
Seeing her students grow into amazing dancers and individuals fills Abigail’s heart with joy. She is thankful for the opportunity to teach extraordinary students with great passion that inspires those around them. This is Abigail’s first year at TDP and she is thrilled to become part of the dance family!”
