Abigail Balk:

“Abigail started dancing at the age of three and her love for it has grown tremendously through the years. She is trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, tap, and musical theatre/character. As a dancer, Abigail had the opportunity to attend a variety of intensives, conventions, and competitions at both regional and national levels. Throughout her fifteen-year dance journey, Abigail discovered her love for teaching and choreographing. Now, as a teacher, she has been blessed with regional and national competitions awarding her for her choreography.

Seeing her students grow into amazing dancers and individuals fills Abigail’s heart with joy. She is thankful for the opportunity to teach extraordinary students with great passion that inspires those around them.”

Elle began dancing at three years old and competing at five. She has been with The Dance Pitt since the beginning and considers the studio her family. Beginning as part of TDP’s assistant program during middle school, Elle has been teaching and choreographing for nearly 10 years now and has experience with all ages and levels of dancers. She is trained in all the fundamental styles and has had the opportunity to learn from many dance professionals over the years. Her passion for dance has grown tremendously since being introduced to teaching. She believes there is nothing like sharing her love and knowledge with younger dancers while building relationships and making memories with them and their families.

Olivia Lillich

Olivia started dancing when she was three, and she loved it the minute class started. Over the 15 years she danced, 11 of those were spent with The Dance Pitt. Olivia practiced in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop, however, her favorite was contemporary. Assisting in eighth grade sparked her love for teaching. Olivia has been assisting mainly with the younger kids for five years, teaching them the basics of dance. Throughout her dance journey, she was a part of a team that won many national titles and she loved having such amazing friends that quickly became family.  Olivia loves being part of the foundation for the love of dance for her dancers, and her appreciation for the basics of dance is one of the reasons she enjoys it so much. As a staff member, Olivia is excited for the seasons ahead of her. She loves working with the kids and cannot wait to see how TDP grows with her through the years!
